Modern Office Decor

Whether you’re still working from home, or are back in the office, I’m sure you all know how important it is to have a designated and cute office space! We moved into a new office building just weeks before the world shut down in 2020, and are just now finally beginning to really settle in and add all our finishing touches. Shouq and I work in the concrete/construction industry, so I think it’s safe to say our pink and gold modern glam office is out of the ordinary for anyone that walks in lol, but we couldn’t love it more! Below are all of our office essentials for a cute and functional work space!

It was surprisingly hard to find a good quality white desk that was still cute, but we finally found one at Nebraska Furniture Mart. We did end up taking the hardware to a painter to get it sprayed gold (silver was definitely not the vibe), and even though that took 6+ months, it was definitely worth it!

I love love love these bookshelves! It’s so fun to decorate them and add your own touch to a shared space! (Yes I know me and my sister decorated pretty much exactly the same lol, but that’s a different story). Most of the items on the shelves are little things we found at Hobby Lobby, At Home, and Amazon, but the possibilities are endless for how you can style these! This storage ottoman matched our office perfectly, so we had to get it, and it’s been perfect to store extra snacks, or toys for Laila and Salma when they come visit. And our blanket basket might be a little extra, but if you ever come to visit our office, you’ll see that it’s actually extremely necessary!

We love a cute gallery wall, so we knew we had to include some form of one in our office! We went with the mix and match look and want to keep adding to it as we find more cute things. We printed and framed the hamsa hand and the two hands making a heart prints on Etsy, and got the eye mirror and other prints from World Market and At Home. On the opposite wall we got this fun pink tinted acrylic calendar, where we love adding all our events (big and small lol) for the month. We paired it with a basic corkboard where we can pin up cute pictures and fun artwork Laila and Salma make.

A few organization essentials we love! This wall hanger is the perfect storage solution for our purses, keeping them hidden behind the door for a clean look. Our favorite organizational tool is this handy daily planner pad- It keeps you on schedule and even has a place for you to keep track of water intake for the day. And speaking of water intake, this Stanley cup is the perfect way to get all those recommended ounces in- we both love ours and use them daily! Lastly is this super convenient rolling drawer organizer. When we were setting up our new office we basically bought anything white and gold, so when we saw this at Home Goods, we knew it was coming home with us. It turned out to be the perfect little corner addition to hold random extra office supplies and things that aren’t cute enough to be out.

Our coffee table is the center point of our office, so we wanted to make sure it looked cute! We had a hard time finding the perfect one with the right color gold hardware, so we ended up sending the hardware to get painted like our desks-and it came out perfect! The marble top is so pretty we wanted it to really stand out, so we kept the tabletop decor simple. We just added a fun coffee table book, classic mirror tray, faux flowers, a touch of pink with the candle, and gold candy (of course). We also got this pink accent rug from Nebraska Furniture Mart to tie in all our pink accent decor.

Ok I saved the best for last- the snack cart!! I’m going to just let it have it’s moment, no words needed lol!

Ok now that we’ve given it the moment it deserves, we can talk about our fun couch. We wanted a fun velvet couch to be our statement piece against our statement wall- which by the way was hand painted, believe it or not! This couch was perfect- beautiful to look at but not too comfortable to sit on in case anyone thinks of visiting and staying too long lol.
