Pack with me for Jordan
Tis the season of all things summer travel: Jordan edition! I have been looking forward to this summer all year long. Whether you’re staying for a few weeks or months, packing for Jordan or an overseas trip can be stressful. I’m always afraid I’m going to regret not bringing 3 different bronzers or my sneakers from 3 years ago that I haven’t worn in a hot minute. I feel like I have my necessities list down though so here are things I’m bringing that you might find useful for your upcoming summer vacations!
Random Amazon Essentials
Socks. So. many socks. These are my favorite! I can’t stand a thick sock during the summer but these are light and airy. Plus they wash well and last a while.
Handheld fan- Ok. Hear me out. Please. It’s 100 degrees. You’re outside waiting for your knafeh from Habiba in Downtown Amman and you’re SWEATING. Look no further and help out future you- buy this fan. I travel with a portable fan every single year and everyone has something to say about it until they need it ;). It’s also rechargeable.
Hair clips- OMG!!! New fav! You guys I am obsessed with these.
Travel Pill Organizer- Don’t abandon your vitamins on vacation simply because those pill bottles are bulky and take up so much space. This pill organizer is the perfect fix! Must have IMO.
Bug Bite Thing- Need I say more? A summer necessity honestly. Stay prepared always.
Jewelry Organization
I don’t know why it took me so long to figure out how to travel with my jewelry. Found this cute organizer from Mark and Graham and it works really, really well! Sturdy and compact. They have several sizes but it just depends on how many pieces you’re bringing with you. My mom loved it so much she immediately ordered one for herself! (Makes for a GREAT gift too!) I bought both of us the medium size.
Make Up Must Haves
Oh boy. Honestly I am not the best person to ask for “must haves” because so far I’ve packed my entire collection- but I’m hoping by the time I’ve posted this the list has been narrowed down (you don’t need 3 bronzers Nadeen). I went to Sephora and stocked up on things I seriously cannot travel without! Get your credit cards ready.
Belif Moisturizer- Guys I’ve talked about this over and over so at this point (men & women alike) if you haven’t ordered this I’m offended. The BEST moisturizer. Picked it up in the full size and mini size.
Dior Lip Maximizer in Rosewood- Hellloooooo! Of course! My favorite daily go-to lip product.
Lancome Eye-make up remover- This stuff is super good at removing that stubborn mascara.
Farmacy Make Up Cleansing Balm- I’ve gotten my friends and family HOOKED on this stuff! The best make up remover ever.
Shiseido cotton pads- The only cotton pads I use for my face. They’re super soft and gentle on the skin.
Youth to the People Kale Cleanser- All-time FAV cleanser! Bought the travel size with me too for the plane ride.
Dr. Jart face masks- Everyone needs a good pick me up mid-flight am I right ladies (and men don’t lie).
Tatcha lip mask- I really like this lip mask! I’m an Aquaphor girly but this has a pretty tint to it and it’s super glossy! Also, smooth and not sticky.
The Basics
You could be the responsible and simple minimalist and plan out your outfits ahead of time so you don’t overpack, or you can be like me and just bring your entire wardrobe for all the “what ifs.” I won’t bore you with every piece but I will share a few basics I’m bringing with me that I truly couldn’t travel without!
